Credit Card Marketeer Wanted!

Right now we are searching for a Marketing Manager Cards and Loans Acquisition to join our team in Chester, Gosforth or Glasgow. As well as having significant experience (across a range of marketing, banking and retail disciplines) and experience leading direct and indirect teams, we also welcome insatiable curiosity and relentless optimism. Day to day you will…

  • translate the credit card and loans strategic marketing plan into an operational acquisition plan with associated targets and clear & stretching KPIs
  • collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure appropriate budgets are in place, resource available and propositions delivered to enable the objectives of the Retail Business to be achieved
  • target an ambitious customer experience for the Retail Business, embedding the brand promise and company purpose into every campaign, customer interaction and proposition
  • control the co-ordination and prioritisation of all campaigns related to credit cards and loans acquisition activity, taking ownership of appropriate communication channels
  • control, challenge and gain enterprise agreement to the customer acquisition marketing plans for the Retail Franchise
  • identify and manage suitable 3rd parties to support the delivery of the strategy, KPIs and goals in an efficient and effective manner
  • ensure that all marketing campaigns are delivered in a manner compliant with FCA, Data Protection, GDPR and other relevant regulations

 

Ideally you will have...

  • proven experience across a range of marketing, banking and retail disciplines including a leadership style role
  • an appropriate qualification a degree and/or post–graduate qualification with experience across a range of marketing disciplines
  • commercial marketing experience and be commercially astute
  • experience integrating campaign activity across marketing channels
  • experience utilising consumer insight to develop and deliver effective marketing strategies & propositions
  • experience in developing and delivering Marketing propositions
  • experience influencing at Senior and Executive levels
  • excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive business relationships
  • an understanding of Financial Services and/or other service based industries
  • an understanding of the impact of market dynamics and competitive forces on Marketing performance and knowledge of the actions required to drive Marketing success
  • an understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the financial services industry
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written an ability to lead, influence and inspire
