Salary: Starting from £26,000 - £34,250 per annum DOE
Location: Glasgow/Gosforth 
Contract: Permanent

If you have good technical knowledge with a solid understanding of web client technology, there is an opening to join us in Channel & Digital as a Web Developer. As part of our fast growing, Agile team you will have the chance to shape the future of our success. We welcome your input and value the experience you can bring.

This role is about…

  • Being a passionate software engineer with development capability in React.js and JavaScript
  • Contributing to an excellent team, to both learn and share your own knowledge
  • Having a solid understanding of code and workflow quality tools eslint, GIT, etc
  • Understanding of software unit testing

It’s essential you have:

  • Knowledge of web fundamentals – HTML 5, CSS, Networking/HTTP
  • Experience with React, Jest/Enzyme, Redux, Chrome Dev Tools and JavaScript
  • Experience with dependency management
  • Experience securing web applications and working to mitigate common vulnerabilities
  • Understanding of web design principles and interface standards
  • Experienced working with Agile development
  • A grasp of automation, continuous integration, unit testing and continuous refactoring
  • Experience interfacing with microservices and REST APIs
