We are on the lookout for an experienced Front End Chapter Lead to join us on our journey.

Day to day you’ll be:

  • Reporting to the Tribe Engineering Lead you’ll work with and lead engineers as well as working with product owners and other Tribe chapter leads to understand and deliver projects
  • Facilitating the best solutions and prioritising the backlog to demonstrate the most relevant value for our colleagues and customers
  • Proactively identifying technical impediments and working directly to resolve
  • Working with tribe members to support and educate on quality first principles, whilst facilitating Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Immersed in modern tech, Agile best practice and working alongside likeminded individuals who care about the little things
  • Setting and driving standards across our Brochureware platform and frontend applications; user experience is critical to our success as we strive to build best in class mobile and web applications
  • You’ll be working with native mobile, React web applications and .net web applications, designing and advocating scalable, enterprise architecture.
  • You’ll be leading, coaching and mentoring a diverse set of engineers
  • Advocating best in class technology, standards and culture

To be brilliant you’ll need:

  • Significant experience with a proven track record of success in a similar role; using modern engineering practices whilst leading and coaching a team of engineers
  • Have SME knowledge and understanding of the full SDLC for .net, native iOS, Android and React web applications
  • The ability to interpret analytical data to make the right decisions, delivering customer/business value where it matters
  • In depth knowledge and practical experience of managing Technologies including .NET, SQL, Pracle, HTML5, Javascript, CSS (and pre-processors), Kotlin, flutter, Swift, Objective C, Java Android, React, Node.js, headless CMS systems., Razor, and (ideally) Bootstrap
  • A deep working knowledge of content management systems, in particular SDL Tridion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment and get stuck into Agile practices like backlog refinement, prioritisation and retros
  • Proactive in your approach identifying technical impediments, owning these and working directly the Tribe and stockholders to resolve
  • A proven and successful track record of educating team members and stakeholder on quality first principles, whilst facilitating CI/CD
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages to Tribe members and Senior Stakeholders
  • The ability to resolve conflicts within the team before they become an issue, particularly complex dependencies
  • The ability to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable and effective working environment and relationships

Point to note…
At the minute, depending on which team you are joining, lots of us are working from home.
