In this analytical problem solving role, you will support the Business Development and Finance Director in managing the commercial and financial aspects and supporting the exciting growth plans of the JV. This will include development of robust financial plans, managing financial performance and supporting purpose led decision making through financial and commercial analysis. You will have a highly professional approach, demonstrating integrity and a positive attitude at all times. Your attention to detail applied with your strategic and analytical approach, will help VMJV products remain relevant, delivering results to make all happier about money.
If successful, you will be accountable for….
Developing and maintaining financial forecasting models ensuring business plans are underpinned by sound commercial insight and detailed understanding of the business. Providing robust financial plans and analysis
Delivering accurate and timely financial performance reporting and insightful commentary for Executive and Board reporting
Monitoring and forecasting of change programme costs to support effective cost management
Leading the development of new management information, ensuring that all relevant data is captured and reported in an relevant, accurate and timely manner
Working with all areas of the business to provide analysis to support projects and initiatives such as new product development and migration activities
Providing value adding financial performance reporting
To be brilliant you’ll bring…
Extensive experience of financial analysis, forecasting and performance management
Experience of working at senior levels across the business and with external organisations
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to deal independently and pro-actively with others
The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community across the business
The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
Qualified accountant with good understanding of financial management, reporting and analysis techniques
Strong commercial mindset and understanding key value levers that will drive long term value creation
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Investment and Pensions industry knowledge would be valuable but not essential
