We’ve an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking PMO Analyst to support the delivery of strategic and BAU change in line with the overall objectives of the Change & Delivery function.

The role in a nutshell

You’ll be responsible for a wide range of activities across Change & Delivery, collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners so as you can imagine, no two days are the same. You’ll have a unique opportunity to get involved in key initiatives within Programmes and Projects and work with senior stakeholders and a diverse range of teams. So, if you’re a people person, passionate about ensuring the right customer outcomes and have an eye for detail, this could be the role for you!
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
Maintain high quality project documentation and provide high quality and accurate project reporting on a regular basis to project stakeholder groups, sponsors and senior management.
Ensure plans, key milestones, resources and tasks are being managed appropriately.
Finance and budget tracking and weekly reporting and ensure that the risks and issues of the overall project/programme portfolio are actively managed.
Support and on occasion chair weekly and monthly meetings within the Programme or Project, ensuring all formal governance routines are adhered to. Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, specifically senior managers and external partners regarding the delivery status of the change portfolio.
Work in partnership with the Programmes & delivery teams, offering guidance to ensure the programmes are adhering to Change Methodology Policy Standards (CMPS) within the Governance Framework.
Work with colleagues in the Central PMO function to ensure project reporting is accurate and adheres to wider group and external partner Programme and Project Management Frameworks.
Collaborate with the wider PMO and Change Community in the ongoing development, roll out and embedding of continuous improvement and best practise into programme delivery.
We need you to have:
Change management experience, using recognised methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, SDM, Prince 2 etc.) and driving improvements
A head for numbers and experience of budget management as you’ll help keep us on track with our costs and approvals
A natural ability to collaborate and work with stakeholders at all levels across the business
Confidence to challenge and influence to get the best outcome
The ability to communicate clearly in a straight up, succinct way keeping the complex simple
Insatiable curiosity so you can truly under requirements and the ask
The ability to quickly understand complex systems and processes
The following would be brilliant...but not essential
Experience of working in the Financial Services Industry
Good understanding of the financial sector - sound business acumen and judgment
A collaborative and positive approach
Strong planning, problem solving skills
