Our Team

We are on the lookout for a skilled and driven Change Delivery Manager (x2) to join our Unsecured Lending Change team, embedded within the Unsecured Lending business area, to deliver our Credit Cards and Personal Loans change portfolio. We are a focussed and energetic team with a commitment to deliver the best possible customer and commercial outcomes across our product suite. We now need to build up our existing team with the right skills and mindset to enable us to continue to hit those goals and deliver our exciting change portfolio! In delivering both technical and business change, we go heavy on collaboration inside and outside of the team, including with established partner business areas across the organisation, such as COO, third party service providers and our Cards mobile app delivery teams. What you’ll be doing

  • Managing end-to-end, high-priority and high-profile change on behalf of the Unsecured Lending Change team. This will cover either or both of change to our Cards or Personal Loans product lines.
  • Collaborating with identified stakeholders across the bank to ensure change scope is understood and defined, thereafter feeding into impact assessments, change delivery planning and execution.
  • Creating and maintaining change plans on an ongoing basis to include definition of key milestones, critical path, and plan dependencies.
  • On a matrix/cross-organisational basis, mobilising and managing technical and non-technical business areas required to deliver innovative solutions to change requirements.
  • Creating and managing change-associated delivery Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency (RAID) items and documentation.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships up to a senior level, through agreed project governance routines, comprehensive verbal and written progress updates and options for the resolution of any emerging challenges.
  • Managing change budgets and financial planning.
  • Producing and securing agreement on change initiative Business Case documentation.
  • Managing adherence to relevant Governance pathways, including through the production of standard change artefacts/documentation, to ensure best protections for customers and the bank.

We need you to have

  • Extensive experience in delivering technical and business change, at pace.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in leading ‘matrix’ change delivery teams, including third party organisations.
  • High degree of skill in verbal and written communications, and the ability to provide clear and engaging progress briefings.
  • Significant experience in building successful relationships and stakeholder management.
  • Significant experience in the build and management of change plans, which includes both technical and business change scope.
  • An innovative mindset and strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges as they emerge.
  • Considerable experience of change management tools and techniques, including both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience as a ‘self-starter’ with a proactive approach to work assignments.
  • An ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands, reacting to changing priorities, as required.
  • Significant experience of change management tools and techniques.
  • Experience in budget management and change cost forecasting.
  • An ability to ‘see the bigger picture’ and consider the impact of changes within a wider change Programme/Portfolio view.
  • Credit Cards and/or Personal Loans product knowledge

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Knowledge and experience of our Credit Cards TS2 platform.
  • Knowledge of Credit Cards or Personal Loans business processes.
  • Awareness of Consumer Duty legislation and bank responsibilities to the customer.
  • Experience of strategic change roadmap production and management.
