Our Team
Customer Services & Operations (CS&O) is a core function responsible for delivering simply brilliant experience to customers efficiently, consistently, and compliantly day‑to‑day.
The Personal Assistant support team within Customer Service and Operations (CS&O) provide a proactive management of services, co-ordination, and administration to ensure the leadership are effectively prepared to deliver their best. You will provide daily support to CS&O LT members with a variety of situations, decision making and prioritisation of workloads. You may be asked from time to time to also provide additional support with operational tasks for the wider. function.
What you’ll be doing
- Proven EA/PA experience supporting senior leaders with diary management
- Organisation and prioritisation, with calm execution under pressure and sharp attention to detail
- Coordination of meetings and events, within busy diaries
- Handling of confidential information and resilience
- Naturally proactive– highlighting issues early, close loops, and keep momentum
- Ensure leader(s) are well prepared for meetings and materials are readily available
- Manage travel requirements, itineraries and last minute changes
- Ability to demonstrate a positive approach to continuous improvement and efficient ways of working
- Maintain documents, trackers, process expenses and approvals
- Confident communicator with senior leaders and wider stakeholders with excellent judgement, discretion, and the ability to influence and negotiate to land outcomes.
- Management of system administration e.g. CoreHR/Oracle/ P2P
- Tech‑savvy across Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), mobile and tablet support.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, building effective relationships across CS&O & wider Group organisation.
We need you to have
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Previous experience within a similar role (secretarial/ business support /personal assistant).
- Experience with minute taking and invoices.
- Great judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Brilliant verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- A strong sense of initiative with the ability to work independently.
- Advanced level of IT office applications i.e. Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- Previous experience supporting at a leadership level together with experience in managing competing priorities between leadership team members.
- Proactive in implementing change to help bring efficiencies.
- Experience of expenses process, system use and procurement systems.
