Day to day you will be….
Analysing new business proposals and undertaking independent research on companies and sub-sectors;
Working with the team on deal origination and execution from initial meeting through to completion;
Preparing detailed credit applications in respect of new proposals;
Preparing and sensitising financial models;
Instructing, completing and processing internal and external documentation to ensure legal documents and securities are prepared in order and due diligence is correctly scoped;
Developing and expanding your own network of internal and external contacts;
Supporting the dedicated Cashflow Finance Relationship team across the portfolio;
Pro-actively assisting the team to operate effectively and efficiently on a day to day basis.
Working with the team to ensure that we are compliant on all credit, operational and other risk and administrative matters as necessary.

Excellent analytical skills, including in-depth knowledge of corporate finance transactions;
The ability to understand and interpret financial statements;
Developed Excel financial modelling skills;
Commitment to consistently provide high standards of work with outstanding attention to detail;
Capacity to cope with complex situations and to have a flexible approach to challenges and problems;
Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills;
Be a strong team player.
We would love it if you had…
A relevant vocational financial services qualification e.g. Chartered Banker;
A tertiary qualification in a business discipline. Further qualifications are desirable, but not mandatory;
Knowledge of bank systems and processes in relation to people, customer-facing systems, sales, risk and credit;
Understanding of risk and compliance requirements in line with the role;
A knowledge of lending and securities policy and procedures;
