Within the Consumer Services function of Consumer Lending, our Change team is responsible for the management of all Consumer Lending Change and is involved in Strategic Group and Regulatory Change. We have an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Senior PMO Analyst to support the delivery of strategic and BAU change in line with the overall objectives of the Consumer Lending team.

You’ll be responsible for a wide range of activities across change and operations, collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners so as you can imagine, no two days are the same.  You’ll have a unique opportunity to get involved in all the key initiatives within Customer Lending and will work with senior stakeholders and a diverse range of teams.  So, if you are a people person, passionate about ensuring the right customer outcomes and have a key eye for detail, this could be the role for you!

Day to day you’ll:

  • Maintain high quality project documentation and provide high quality and accurate project reporting on a regular basis to project stakeholder groups, sponsors and senior management.
  • You’ll act as subject matter expert on processes with our third-party suppliers, advising colleagues on the steps they need to follow to initiate and complete change.
  • Document and manage overall project plans, identify key milestones and where appropriate, manage resources and tasks, particularly where conflicting priorities occur to ensure changes are delivered swiftly, on time and on budget.
  • Support the Consumer Lending Change Portfolio team with finance and budget tracking and weekly reporting and ensure that the risks and issues of the overall project/programme portfolio are actively managed.
  • Chair weekly and monthly meetings within Consumer Lending, ensuring all formal governance routines are adhered to. Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, specifically senior managers and external partners regarding the delivery status of the change portfolio.
  • Champion and support the Consumer Lending control environment, ensuring that changes delivered are auditable and are delivered in line with standard BAU control procedures to ensure accurate, effective, controlled implementation with no customer or shareholder impact, with effective handover to other teams within Consumer Services.
  • Work with colleagues in the central PMO function to ensure project reporting relating to Consumer Lending projects is accurate and adheres to wider group and external partner Programme and Project Management Frameworks.

 To be successful you’ll need to bring:

  • Change management experience, using recognised methodologies (waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma, SDM, Prince 2 etc.)
  • Experience of budget management, including cost tracking and approval processes.
  • Experience of working within release schedules, project plans and delivery plans, including appropriate assessment time, design, testing and implementation phases.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to quickly understand complex systems and processes.

The following would be brilliant...but not essential

  • Financial Services Industry experience with an understanding of Card systems landscape.
  • Experience in developing business cases and tracking committed benefits.
  • Experience in managing projects.

Point to note…
