But when our purpose is combined with the right people, the impact is powerful. Together we can take on challenges and crush them, we can achieve wild success. And we can have fun doing it.

What you’ll be doing

Every day at Virgin Money we send thousands of communications to our customers letting them know about important updates to their banking products and financial services, as well as letting them know about other Virgin Money products that might suit their needs.

Now, more than ever, it’s important that the messages we send to our customers are understood by them and when needed, acted upon. With this in mind, we need to manage our communications and other documents in a standardised way to ensure that all communications meet the exacting standards as set out in the Group Customer Communication Policy.

  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, with a multitude of different stakeholders in the bank.
  • An ability to problem solve and troubleshoot potential issues with missing meta-data associated with customer communications.
  • An ambitious and inquisitive mind set, a desire to learn and develop and an ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Existing experience of document management
  • Technical proficiency in existing document management system

Now the legal bit

We’re in the process of bringing Virgin Money and Nationwide together which, subject to Court approval, will happen on 2 April 2026. You can find out more about what this means at https://uk.virginmoney.com/nationwide-transfer. If you’re successful in securing a role with us, your employment will move automatically to Nationwide when this transfer goes ahead.

Although some of our roles allow you to be based anywhere in the UK, we'll need you to confirm you have the right to work in the UK.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
