In a nutshell, as an Agile Coach within the coaching office you will enable an organisation-wide agile transformation. To champion and embed the agile ways of working within the organisation and lead the continuous improvement in key areas. You’ll be coaching across disciplines to drive effective agile software development practices and help to embed agile ways of working ensuring consistency of standards across all our Tribes. You will support the tribe leadership, Scrum Master, Squads and Product Owners as well as wider bank colleagues when required. You’ll be a superb coach and leader, driving effective communication and rapid problem solving to deliver our transformation goals.What you’ll be doing
Deliver agile capability services such as foundational skills training in Scrum and Kanban through strong training, mentoring and coaching skills.
Champion and lead the mindset changes and belief re-sets required to affect the desired cultural transformation
Ensure an increase in organisational agile capability through skills practice and knowledge acquisition
Support teams / Tribes to scale safely and effectively in a measured way
Align coaching style and interventions with the overall organisational and Tribe’s business goals to support savvy backlog management and forward momentum around the next most important needs
Providing guidance and support to strategic leaders when implementing a business change/transformation programme using agile methodologies
Coaching multiple teams, ensuring alignment to organisation and programme goals and outcomes
We need you to have
Proven track record of coaching teams in Agile practices and establishing & evolving the Agile methodology of an organisation to deliver max business value on time
Proven ability to promote innovative thinking, self-organisation and continuous improvement within the team
Previous experience of designing and delivering interactive and engaging training
Knowledge and experience of relevant domain/products/journeys and Agile Software Development Lifecycle
The ability to identify and facilitate to; effectively resolve conflicts before they become an issue, manage complex dependencies and removal of impediments
Ability to use data, metrics and insights to identify and measure improvement opportunities
The ability to coach and collaborate at all levels of an organisation – individual and team, leadership etc
The ability to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable and effective working environment and relationships
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
Infrastructure or Software Delivery expertise or teams design / OKR and Transformation experience
Qualifications in Scrum, Kanban, scaling frameworks and professional coaching
