What you’ll be doing

Every day at Virgin Money we send thousands of communications to our customers letting them know about important updates to their banking products and financial services, as well as letting them know about other Virgin Money products that might suit their needs.

Now, more than ever, it’s important that the messages we send to our customers are understood by them and when needed, acted upon. With this in mind, we need to manage our communications and other documents in a standardised way to ensure that all communications meet the exacting standards as set out in the Virgin Money Customer Communication Policy, and to be able to meet these needs we need to migrate all customer communications within the bank into a centralised Asset Management platform.

We’re therefore looking for three talented Customer Communications Managers to join the Marketing Operations team. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out a deep dive to identify all assets requiring to be migrated to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
  • Fully reviewing all assets to make sure they are technically accurate and written in the correct Tone of Voice as well as logging any associated meta-data.
  • Updating assets, where relevant, in-line with technical requirements and Virgin Money Brand Standards
  • Working with a 3rd Party to migrate all assets to the Aprimo DAM along with approval evidence, supporting documents, etc.

We need you to have

  • Exceptional organisational skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Effective communication skills; key for liaising with other stakeholders, understanding documentation needs and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, with a multitude of different stakeholders in the bank.
  • An ability to problem solve and troubleshoot potential issues with missing meta-data associated with customer communications.
  • An ambitious and inquisitive mind set, a desire to learn and develop and an ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Existing experience of document management
  • Technical proficiency in existing asset management system

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
