Salary Range: £37,600 - £56,400 per annum DOE + red-hot benefits

Working in Cyber Security is a big deal as we continue to play a key role in keeping Virgin Money safe. We are on an ambitious journey with a clear vision to expand our team and enhance our security and cyber operations.
As a Cyber Culture Specialist, you’ll play an important role in promoting a strong security-conscious culture across our organisation.
You'll educate colleagues on cybersecurity practices. You'll work with both technical and non-technical audiences, creating engaging content like presentations, videos, and interactive modules. Your mission: to help colleagues protect sensitive information, recognise and respond to cyber threats, and prevent security incidents.
This is a brand-new role in a small team with big ambitions.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and produce engaging security awareness materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create relevant training content.
- Deliver virtual security awareness training sessions, with occasional travel for in-person training.
- Promote a strong security culture through enterprise-wide initiatives and events.
- Support colleague development and identify training needs.
- Analyse metrics and feedback to improve our training impact.
- Stay updated with industry standards and ensure the security awareness programme aligns with compliance requirements.
We need you to have
- A range of design experience and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to simplify complex cyber threats for learners with varying levels of technical experience.
- Technical knowledge of cybersecurity for effective training of IT and technical colleagues.
- An understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, along with keeping up to date on current cyber threats and human-based attack methods.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good influencing skills and credibility with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- Relevant certifications in information security and training and development are a plus but not essential.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technology.
