As such, our Delivery Consultants play a vital role in leading the delivery of applications and features to our customers and colleagues, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Designers and Technical leads to deliver top-notch products. If you're passionate about spearheading the delivery of new and innovative products, this role might be the perfect fit for you. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the delivery within Programmes/Projects/Squads, providing strong leadership and direction.
  • Set and uphold high delivery standards, ensuring the vision and goals are clearly understood and met.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Change Book of Standard Procedures and governance framework.
  • Provide delivery assurance through lean governance and proactive risk management.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in their planning efforts.
  • Establish resourcing requirements for projects/Tribes and work with Portfolio/Programme leads to optimise the mix of internal and external resources.
  • Support portfolio teams in managing budgets, including overseeing large budgets to ensure financial efficiency and accountability.

We need you to have

  • Proven experience in programme management and delivery consultancy.
  • Experience in managing complex programmes / projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to work in fast paced environment

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Experience in providing oversight and coaching to Project Managers.

Living A Life More Virgin allows our colleagues to be based anywhere in the UK (if the role allows it), but we'll need you to confirm you have the right to work in the UK.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
