Business Unit: Purpose and Community Team, HR and Communications
Salary range: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE + red-hot benefits
Location: UK Remote with occasional travel to hubs and events (Gosforth & Glasgow circa twice per quarter)
Contract type: Fixed term up to circa 12-Months

What you’ll be doing
- Providing essential support with day-to-day tasks, project planning, coordination, meeting administration, and any ad hoc tasks as required across the Purpose and Community Team.
- Assisting with programme planning and coordination, including the Make £5 Grow operations, Appreciate colleague recognition programme, charity partnership and volunteering.
- Diving into data to uncover valuable insights, to spot trends and pinpoint areas for improvement, driving our recognition programme and colleague community engagement forward.
- Managing system and colleague queries proactively, providing solutions and escalating issues to key stakeholders when necessary. Regularly connect with key colleagues across the business, championing our customer-first behaviours and driving community and purpose adoption.
- Keeping a close eye on our programme budgets, flagging any concerns and reconciling spend to ensure financial integrity. Raise Purchase Orders as needed, ensuring all transactions are processed smoothly and efficiently.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of off-site events and community activities. Work closely with third-party vendors to resolve any issues, ensuring our key programmes and events run without a hitch.
We need you to have
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively and work at pace.
- Great judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Brilliant verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong sense of initiative with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- The ability to work effectively through change and integration, supporting the navigation of new processes and adapting to change.
- Experience of office applications i.e. Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- Experience in implementing change to drive the right outcomes.
- Previously managed finances and raised purchase orders.
- Some knowledge of Power BI.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting.
