Our Team
Our Advisory & Assurance Team is responsible for undertaking external and internal KYC for Correspondent Banking counterparties and for reporting derivative, bond and repurchase transactions to the regulator to satisfy UKMIR, MIFIR and SFTR.
This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your existing experience. In this new role, you'll have the chance to expand your knowledge in Correspondent Banking KYC and Transaction Reporting as well as cross skilling in other aspects of the team to ensure that all team members can become fully rounded Advisory & Assurance professionals.
What you’ll be doing
- Undertaking the daily regulatory reporting to the various Trade Repositories that facilitate our UKMIR, MIFIR and SFTR reporting.
- Perform reconciliation and control tasks to ensure regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
- Undertaking the KYC checks on the banks Correspondent Banking counterparties and replying to KYC requests from the counterparties.
- Support the wider team by cross skilling in other tasks.
- Work with data sets to analyse and interpret.
We need you to have
- Either experience in regulatory reporting for UKMIR and MIFIR OR
- Experience working with Anti-Money laundering Know Your Customer regulations for Correspondent Banking.
- Accountability for your workload, take initiative for consistently achieving goals and delivering on expectations.
- A strong background in analytics with the ability to source and use relevant information effectively to identify problems and offer sustainable solutions.
- Experience using Excel to analyse data, source information and use of formulas.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- Experience in back-office operations across various asset classes - particularly Derivatives
- Knowledge of Swift Messaging/payment routes.
