Our Team
We’re looking for a Business Design Lead who is highly motivated and is actively looking for their next permanent career challenge. That someone will love the analytical and collaborative side of being a technologist but also be someone who will ensure that the customer experience is always at the heart of it.
You'll work closely with your Chapter Lead to support and develop the Business Analysis Chapter, co-ordinate with Product Owners and Squads across the department to ensure we are meeting their needs and help shape best practices for training & development of the Chapter. You’ll support squads with their Business Analysis needs and will support the Chapter Lead with recruitment and onboarding activities.
What you’ll be doing
• progress and deliver business analysis activities to ensure the business have all the information they need to keep things moving
• Review output of the Business Analysis chapter members and coach on best practices
• Work as part of multi-disciplinary Squads delivering work in Sprints
• Contribute to standard Agile planning ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint retrospective) as well as Daily Stand Ups
• Support Scrum Masters, Product Owners & Programme Managers in managing Product Backlogs, ensuring key metrics are understood and followed by the team
• Be the voice of the business and end user and help your team develop and test software for one of our key digital channels
We need you to have
• A proven track record in business analysis within an agile digital environment
• Proven capability in gathering and documenting complex requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, preferably in Gherkin format
• Experience in coaching and development of junior team members
• A collaborative attitude and experience of helping multi-disciplinary teams to deliver user-focused digital products and services
• First class inter-personal skills, coupled with strong influencing abilities and a can-do attitude to keep focussed on delivering the right business outcome
• Be a self-starter, well organised and able to work independently on complex tasks
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
• Experience of large-scale transformation programmes in Financial Services/Banking institutions
• Experience of the full Software Development Life Cycle, including Business Readiness activities
• Experience of working to both Waterfall & Agile methodologies
