As a Front-Line Manager, you will be leading and directing an operational group of colleagues, consisting of 1 team. The key focus of this role will be ensuring your teams delivers on customer focused objectives and targets aimed at providing truly brilliant customer experiences.
You’ll have the drive to deliver results and continually look to improve colleague performance. You will coach, develop, and manage colleagues, enabling them to achieve objectives and team and personal goals. To succeed you’ll need the ability to motivate others, challenge colleagues to continually improve and strive to fulfil their potential.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and supporting a team of colleague’s day to day promoting strong performance and helping colleagues to develop
- Pro-actively seeking ideas to improve work and reduce cost through continuous improvement.
- Creating short to medium term plans focused on identifying capacity and managing resource to best meet customer demands.
- Leading and promoting a Continuous Improvement culture to increase operational effectiveness.
- Ensuring teams always work to the relevant risk and regulatory guidelines.
- Regularly reviewing MI for core performance of colleagues to allow effective performance management.
- Promoting and supporting the wellbeing of colleagues
We need you to have.
- Strong people leadership skills and a proven track record in staff development and coaching
- Experience with creating short to medium term planning, focusing on identifying capacity and managing resources to best meet customer demands.
- Proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
- Compelling influencing and communication skills
- Experience dealing with HR and Absence management procedures.
- A passion for exceptional customer service and experience
- The drive and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good organisational and administrative skills, ensuring that all tasks are complete within required timescales.
- Knowledge of risk and regulatory guidelines
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential.
- Good knowledge of Business Banking products and services
- Good knowledge of performance tools such as WFM & TMS
