Our Team
Delivering a fantastic customer experience is one of Virgin Money’s key strategic objectives and as such we have an exciting new opportunity within Personal Banking for a CX Manager.
At a critical stage in our CX journey you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment collaborating with internal and external partners to shape and coordinate a change delivery roadmap focused on driving improvements to our Personal Banking proposition, including both product and customer journey enhancements.
This role sits within the CX & Product Development Team positioned right at the heart of Personal Banking, working with cross-functional teams to develop strategic and tactical change activities to enhance both the customer proposition and experience designed to delight our customers whilst helping to realise our strategic ambitions.
What you’ll be doing
- Demonstrating Great Leadership and being a role model of our Values and Behaviours as you facilitate successful outcomes for the CX & PD Team.
- Understanding data and insight sources available to ensure recommendations are based on market, customer and competitor insight to improve the customer proposition/experience.
- Responsible for the management and provision of SME support in delivering tactical and strategic initiatives, from inception to delivery, driving the continuous improvement of Personal Banking products and services.
- Proactively manage the risks involved with any projects and deliveries, ensuring appropriate escalation to senior management when required.
- Undertaking a coordination role between business areas including front line channels and technical areas to smooth the path to delivery and ensure business readiness.
- Performance monitoring, highlighting variances against agreed plan, threats or opportunities and pro-actively recommend opportunities to support CX agenda.
We need you to have
- The ability to manage your workload and priorities effectively, be a self-starter, well organised and able to work independently on complex tasks.
- Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across our objectives and ensure a clear focus on delivery.
- Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to present recommendations, provide key updates and track performance against targets.
- Ability to balance multiple objectives and manage a wide range of priorities and demands.
- A detailed and analytical approach which enables you to spot issues and identify opportunities to improve.
- A clear customer focus and be motivated and passionate about delivering a best-in-class experience.
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- Product Knowledge – An understanding of the Personal Banking products and services we offer to customers and how they compare across the UK Market.
- Change Management – An understanding of the processes for successful change projects and an idea of Agile Project delivery methodology.
- Experience of collaborating and networking with a range of stakeholders across the bank including identifying, engaging, managing expectations and communicating with confidence.
- Experience working with third parties (inc. Supplier Management).
