Our Team
The Senior Manager will be responsible for the introduction, maintenance and continuous improvement of the process for measuring and monitoring the impact of change on operational capacity and overseeing the recruitment approval process. Including providing effective reporting, controls and governance across both. The role will manage a team of Analysts and Specialists facilitating both these key processes, whilst being the point of engagement for senior stakeholders.
They will act as the key liaison between our change delivery partners, Operations, Finance, HR, Resourcing and Resource Planning to ensure that requests are managed through the appropriate governance framework to support safe delivery without detriment to customer outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
• Establishing and enforcing a structured process for business partners to submit changes that require impact assessment.
• Ensuring all change submissions are logged, reviewed and assessed for their potential impact on cost, colleague, company and customer. Establish an effective engagement model and assessment submission process with the Resource Planning function.
• Developing and maintain an appropriate governance framework across change, tracking compliance and escalating risks where necessary.
• Provide reporting on known change initiatives including delivery timelines, scale and areas of impact.
• Lead the recruitment approval process, ensuring all new hiring requests align with business needs, budget constraints and workforce planning.
• Ensure that recruitment decisions support strategic workforce planning and do not conflict any known change initiatives.
• Develop clear policies and guidance for stakeholders on recruitment approvals and workforce planning.
• Working with Project Management, Operations, Finance, HR and Commercial partners to ensure the Resource Planning team have an awareness of key change initiatives with potential to impact operational performance.
We need you to have
• Strong background in people management, particularly leading Analysts and/or Specialists to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Experience in change management, business governance and workforce planning.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adherence to governance processes
• An ability to logically analyse and interpret data, backed by experience in mathematical, statistical or technical disciplines.
• The ability to assess change risks, workforce needs, and business priorities.
• Experience using data to inform both tactical and strategic operational decisions, analysing trends, explaining performance, and making recommendations to the business.
• An understanding of Financial Services products and distribution channels, supported by operational knowledge of organisational systems, processes, and the wider organisational data landscape.
