Our Team
As a Senior Digital Support Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to solve business problems and serve as a subject matter expert. This role involves evaluating technology's effectiveness, gathering requirements, conducting testing, performing research, and making recommendations for improvements. You will collaborate with various teams to identify end-user requirements and specifications for application performance monitoring, develop monitoring solutions, automate workflows, and ensure high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.

What you’ll be doing
• Implementation and Configuration: Implement and configure Dynatrace Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions across various environments. Set up dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor application performance
• Performance Analysis: Analyse application performance data collected by Dynatrace to identify potential issues and areas for improvement. Collaborate with development and operational teams to optimize application performance
• Troubleshooting: Use Dynatrace tools to troubleshoot and resolve live application performance issues. Work with colleagues to resolve defects
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Dynatrace implementation and recommend improvements
• Supporting the banks digital service in production, therefore we are looking for someone with service experience and willing to join our on-call rota

We need you to have
• Experience with Dynatrace, including setting up full end to end customer journeys, developing custom dashboards, alerts, and reports
• Proven experience with Dynatrace APM tools
• Strong understanding of application performance management concepts
• Ability to identify application performance improvement opportunities and create corresponding monitoring and alerts
• Experience measuring, analyzing, and reporting license consumption of new and existing configurations
• Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to act as a SME, can mentor others, posses good leadership skills
• Good technical knowledge of the Testing, Environments, Implementation and App Support experience

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
• Experience with MonACo or Terraform, our Dynatrace solutions are codified for consistency across all environments
• Strong scripting and automation skills
•Knowledge of cloud-based tooling, scripting, and monitoring
•Experience with application profiling skills (Java Micro Services, MQ etc.)
•Experience with middleware technologies (WebSphere, WebLogic)
